A few months ago, I stumbled upon this book "the clean tech revolution," by Ron Pernick and Clint Wilder. I couldn't resist reading the book. I can tell you one thing after reading the book, I became a 'clean tech' convert.
Clean energy and living green goes hand in hand. I am a 'clean energy' enthusiast! Whenever I drive around and see new homes being built, or renovated, the first thing that goes through my mind is this: "What are they going to do with the roof and windows? Are they taking advantage of passive solar energy? How about installing solar panels at the roofs?" Etc. etc.
Obviously, we are not there yet.
There are still a lot to be done to help us get there. Maybe when oil prices hit $100+ .. like $4 a gallon everyone will consider doing it. Who knows. This blog is my diary to chronicle my observations, readings, etc.
Think the first step towards greening a home or conserving energy is education. So- spread the word. Educate people.
Take action. Be proactive.Tell your friends, family about going green. Get involved.
