9 days, folks, to the Inauguration. If you are planning to go for the Inauguration , PIC just released the map that shows the location and sections for ticketed guests. They're dead serious about timing. IF - you don't get through the screening point by 11:30am, they won't let you in - no matter what kind of excuses you have!

Metro riders should be aware that Metro trains may not be able to stop at stations that are deemed to be overcrowded for safety reasons. If this happens, and ticketed persons miss the designated stop for their ticket area, they should get off at the next possible stop and walk back toward their designated station.
OK. Prepare to walk back if you miss your stop. So, out-of-towners and those who have no freaking clue about how the DC subway system works, study the map.
And best to plan ahead of time...
