Read it on DCist, that Largo Town Center will be the next best thing in DC Metro. Shopping center and more condos on the horizon. The center is walking distance to Blue Line station.
Yup, Largo Town Center, the Blue Line's new terminus station.
The developers explained that thanks to "great access to work and play" and a "myriad of amenities" there was "nowhere else like Largo." The development, Midtown at Largo Station, is advertising new condominiums from $250,000 and up.
Some snooping confirmed our suspicion this was the first transit-oriented development at the Largo station. The Stationmasters' page shows the Boulevard at Capital Centre as the only commercial development in the area, but with sprawling parking lots designed with cars in mind. The Metro station and shopping center are so new they aren't even in Google's aerial imagery of the area.
